Article Marketing tip

What is working somewhere else in retail is not working on the web. One of the largest surprises to me was that to keep people coming back, is to make the articles short and simple. It use to be that an article needed to be from 250 to 500 words. I am finding now that if I get into the 250 word count, people are not going to take the time to read it.

This is even more true today as if you will notice that people are reading most of their emails on their smart phone. So, if your article is some 250+ words it makes it a real bother for them to consume it.

The point is, keep it short, keep it simple, and don’t put a bunch of links in it.
